Kurzweil Introduces MP20 Performance Model Digital Piano
features PC3 sound technology and Ported-Woofer Sound Enhancement

Kurzweil Music - a division of Young Chang and Hyundai Development Company - has introduced the MP20 Performance Model digital piano featuring PC3 sound technology, ambience effects, and a ported-woofer stereo surround system.

The MP20 piano starts with 88 Graded Real-Hammer™ keys with escapement and let-off. The sound engine is built upon Kurzweil's PC3 professional sound technology and includes Kurzweil's Triple Strike Piano and 200 of the best sounds ever created for Kurzweil Pro keyboards. The PC3 sound engine is capable of up to 32 layers per voice and there are 64 of Kurzweil's 4-zone multi-instrument Setups. There are also 100 built-in interactive drum patterns.

The MP20 features a scrolling alpha-numeric LED display flanked by 16 dedicated sound and setup selection buttons. A 2-track song sequencer lets you record up to two parts separately. The MP20 features Kurzweil's latest multiple ambience effects to add depth and realism to the internal sounds. The piano is powered by a 50 Watt, 2-way stereo surround system with 4-speakers - including an angled and tuned ported-woofer enclosure that provides deep bass and heightened sound dispersion. The MP20 comes with RCA-type stereo inputs and outputs and a plug-and-play USB connection.

The cabinet features console-stye legs, adjustable music desk and matching bench and is available in two finishes - dark rosewood or ebony polish. The MP20 is designed for serious students and performers and targets educators, enthusiasts, institutions and houses of worship. The MP20 is marketed as an in store only product for piano retailers.
