Comfortable with music of many genres, B.J. performed on stage for the first time at the age of seven. A year later, he became the full time keyboardist for an adult country band. While still a young boy, B.J. performed four seasons in Branson, Missouri. In Branson, he filled a variety of roles including vocalist, instrumentalist, and music director. After four seasons in Branson, he returned to his home in Magnolia, Arkansas to complete his high school education and prepare for college.

B.J. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. (OBU is the alma mater of the ladies of "Point of Grace" and former Arkansas Governor and Foxnews talkshow host, Mike Huckabee). During his college days, B.J. sang with the OBU's award-winning Concert Choir. He performed as pianist for the Ouachita Jazz Band, and was selected for two auditioned groups: the Ouachita Singers and the Ouachita Sounds. These elite ensembles serve as ambassadors for the university and afforded B.J. the opportunity to tour and perform in the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and China, and cruises.

B.J. is a versatile vocalist, with a wide range from low bass to high tenor. In an event sponsored by the National Association of Teachers of Singing, professors from major universities across the United States selected B.J. as first place male vocalist for his performance of an aria from an Italian opera. (Not bad for something so far out of the comfort zone of a country boy)! B.J. was awarded top honors at an international piano competition for his original arrangement and performance of the hymn, "Great is Thy Faithfulness."

While still a student at OBU, B.J. recorded four songs in Nashville, two of which were released on a Midland Records radio sampler. The songs, "Get up Dow Jones", and "Put Your Head On My Shoulder", made play lists of independent country stations in the eastern U.S. and in Europe. Upon completion of his degree, B.J. returned to Branson, Missouri in 2004 to perform as a member of the Shoji Tabuchi Show--a multimillion dollar Vegas style production. Later that year, he relocated to the Nashville area to fully pursue his musical career.

Since childhood, B.J. has expressed his love of God through music. From time-honored hymns of faith to contemporary praise and worship favorites, B.J. plays and sings melodies of worship that touch the heart and soul. Over the years, he has served in almost every role imaginable in church music. B.J. has enjoyed the unique opportunity to perform at "Cowboy Church" locations in Hot Springs, Arkansas; Branson, Missouri; and Nashville, Tennessee. He is currently a member of the Worship Team at The Bridge Fellowship in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

In addition to his vocal talents, B.J. is a multi-instrumentalist, accomplished in electric/acoustic guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, upright bass, B3 organ, piano, and keyboards. A complete appreciation of the depth of his musical gift demands that you hear and see what the man can do with keys! B.J. has worked as a studio musician on numerous projects, including work on tracks for a television pilot. His talent in composition enables him to write music for original lyrics. He is skilled in preparing detailed charts, making projects easier for musicians and singers.

B.J. Kyle is a professional musician in every sense of the word-qualified on the basis of undeniable talent, education, experience, and dynamic stage presence.
