Requirements

v2.22 Release Notes

Very low velocity playing does not make any sound (better emulating the behavior of a real piano).
Default left hand split transposition is +12 semitones (1 octave up).
Program 1 is now "Pro Piano" (new; the previous #1 Grand Piano has been moved to #2)
Program 2 is now "Grand Piano" (was #1; the previous #2 Bright Piano has been replaced)
Program 7 is now "Big Pop Piano" (new; the previous #7 Piano+Str has been replaced)
Program 33 "Chapel Organ" has been updated.
When doing Splits and Layers the previously selected parameters - voice, transposition and volume, will be used (remembered from the last time a split or layer was done). These parameters will go back to defaults on power cycle.

Installation

Start with the MPS10's power off.

Press and hold down the PLAY button. Power on the MPS10 keeping the PLAY button depressed.

Connect a USB cable between the MPS10 and your computer.
A temporary USB drive representing the MPS10 will mount on your computer (the drive icon may appear on your Desktop, under "Devices" (Mac) or under "My Computer" (PC))
On the MPS10 screen, you will see a scrolling text displaying:

       "MPS10 Bootloader v1.xx"
```
Once this text scrolls by once, the screen will display:
```
       "Run MPS10"
```
Press the PLAY button once. The screen will display:
```
       "Update Software"
```
Press NEXT once. The screen will display:
```
       "Update"
```
Press NEXT again.
The screen will display a message telling you to copy the update file ("MPS10222.KUF") to the temporary USB drive mounted on your computer.
Copy (drag and drop) the "MPS10222.KUF" file to the temporary USB drive.

Unmount or "Safely Remove" the drive from your computer.

Press NEXT again on your MPS10 to initiate the update.

The screen will display:
```
       "Updating ... "
```
When complete, the screen will display:
```
       "Done"
```
Power the MPS10 off then back on normally.

The update process is now complete.

To verify the install, you can check the O/S and Object versions by pressing FUNC double press (Layer+Split). Then press SPLIT ("Func down" in this mode) twice. Scrolling text will then display the currently installed O/S (2.20.852) and Object Versions (2.22.0).
