Hi-Hat Cutoff Program, by Glenn Reither

If you have a K2000, please load the file GRDRUM4.KRZ. If you have a K2500,
please load GRDRUM4.K25

The enclosed files are courtesy of Glenn Reither. Following are his notes about
this program:

Since time began, or for the last couple of years anyway, K2 users have
been asking for the traditional hat setup where the open hat is closed by
a subsequent hat.

It was previously thought that you could only do this by making a seperate
Mono program.

Enter GR Really Drums. (now GR Really Drums3)
The only downside is that the hats are now at the bottom of the keyboard.
Transposing your current hat sequences down 2 octaves will put them in the
right spot except for the foot hat which is now on C2 (under the closed
hats). Other than that I have Eq'd them a bit dirtier and created more
layers so you have a bigger pallette of hat sounds (mostly by using User
and Natural AMP ENV).
I used a FUN with a constant and GKeyNum to make lower notes cut off
higher ones (by -96 dB on AMP page). FUNs 2 and 3 stop higher notes
reopening the AMP.

This means you must have v3 to use this on a K2000.
The toms are now where the hats used to be (C4 upwards). Transposing tom
parts up 2 octaves should mean they sound right.

Kick drum now only goes down to C3 and snare only goes up to B3.
The Kick and Snare ALGs give you a boxy funky kit. Play with the POS block
on the Snare layer to get more boing. Mod wheel adds trash value.
Enjoy in good health. I didnt think having the hats behave this way was so
important but the open hat certainly seems to do the "suck" thing now.
Pea soup yourselves silly :)
