- You can hold notes manually and play other notes in-time to randomly interact with the patterns.- You can latch any note (and its pattern) with pedal switch 2* - MIDI CC66 (sostenuto), then play any note you wish in real-time 'overtop' of the looping pattern! This is REALLY fun. Change which note is latched simply by releasing the pedal, playing a new note, then latching it again.
(*If you only have one pedal switch you can plug it into pedal switch 2 on the back of your Forte SE.)- Tempos are set to SYSTEM tempo in some cases, and to a predetermined tempo in others. You can change as you wish.
Controller Function Mod Wheel Controls the decay of the sounds (down is full envelope of sound and up is shortened) Variation Selects an alternate starting point for every sample, giving the attack a softer transient, somewhat like using multi-rods or brushes Slider A Controls the timbre and/or filter on some sounds Slider B Controls the pitch of all sounds - usually 1200 ct. either up or down - or a mix between sounds Slider C Controls kick drum volume for the primary kick drums (C2 and B1).
