- EDIT/Full Effects Chain Editing - Edit Effects Chains containing up to 16 effects boxes using up to 32 DSP units. Choose from 18 types of effects boxes, including hundreds of effects box algorithms and presets. Create custom controller assignments and apply modulation with LFOs, ASRs and mathematical functions. To access full FX Chain editing, the Global Mode MAIN1 User Type parameter must be set to Advanced.
- EDIT/ARP - New Arpeggiator per program featuring Arpeggiator presets, Classic mode, independent patterns (note shift, velocity and duration), and Step Sequencer mode.
- EDIT/ARP - Tempo per program: Each program can be saved with a specific tempo, or be set to use the system tempo. Tempo is used for the Arpeggiator as well as Tempo synced effects. This is set on the Program Edit Arp page (Tempo parameter). Per program Tempos can also be overridden by the system tempo (see the Global Mode MAIN1 page, Program Tempo parameter).
- EDIT/KEYMAP - Kurzweil String Resonance (KSR) - new piano string resonance emulation. The String Resonance parameter works in conjunction with the FX preset "600 String Resonance" to emulate the sound of strings resonating in an acoustic piano. When combined, these two components create KSR (Kurzweil String Resonance). When a layer has the String Resonance parameter set to On, the FX preset "600 String Resonance" monitors which keys are being held on that layer and uses them to tune the algorithm in the FX preset. Any audio that passes though the FX preset while these keys are held will cause emulated strings to resonate based on this tuning. Switch 2 enables/disables KSR; Slider F controls the amount.
- EDIT/PARAMS - New Description field on the Parameters page.
- EDIT/ALG - Added wiring algs 3200 and 3201.
- On any page, a simultaneous press of the left/right navigation buttons will display the Global TEMPO page.
